Pampelle spritz is a refreshing alternative to famous Aperol spritz. Enjoy fantastic bittersweet red grapefruit drink with some extra bubbles added with Prosecco and soda.

Pampelle is a French version of Aperol, both of the liquors are bitters and drank on their own probably are not very pleasant. Nevertheless, they make a fantastically refreshing Spritz.

What is Pampelle?

It is a red grapefruit aperitif liqueur. After harvest, Corsican grapefruit are handpicked and sent to south-western France where the grapefruit is infused with botanical distillates.

What does Pampelle spritz taste of?

Bittersweet aperitif is full of flowery notes from the botanical distillates and sharp notes of grapefruit do not over power this summery drink. When adding Prosecco to the liquor the fusion creates a refreshing aperitif easily enjoyed in the sun!

Easy Cocktail recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 part pamapelle
  • 3 part prosecco
  • 1 part of soda
  • 1 slice of grapefruit

 

 

Method:

  1. Fill up a gin glass with ice cubes
  2. Add Pampelle, Prosecco and soda
  3. Stir the mixture in the glass
  4. Add a slice of grapefruit for decorations

Hints and Tips
For this lovely refreshing spritz you can use a variety of glasses. You can use a large wine glass or a tall glass, add a straw and enjoy!

    I have never heard of Pampelle! I do adore grapefruit though so next time I’m at the liquor store I will certainly hunt some down. I do love a good greyhound and this feels like that stepped up a notch or 12. I’m down for any kind of prosecco drink so this feels like two things I love all in one.
