Salsa Verde

Italian Salsa Verde is a fantastic sauce which will compliment any dish, especially grilled fish and meat dishes. Salsa Verde contain fantastic flavours, combination of anchovies, parsley, capers, mint and garlic will give you a refreshing raw sauce which can be used a dip.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 15 g Parsley
  • 10 g Anchovies
  • 10 g Capers
  • 10 g Mint
  • 5 g Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1 In the blender add garlic, anchovies, capers, parsley, mint, olive oil and seasoning
  • 2 Blend for a few minutes until smooth
  • 3 Serve and enjoy!

Notes

HINT AND TIPS:
If using salted capers, then add a splash of white vinegar for acidity.
Taste for seasoning, but usually anchovies and capers are enough to season the sauce. 
If the sauce is a little dry, add a few spoons of olive oil.
